SURVEY DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION Resolution Economics has extensive experience designing and conducting surveys to collect important information. Used in conjunction with our statistical sampling and analysis expertise, we assist clients in gaining a cost efficient and timely understanding of the issues at hand. STATISTICAL SAMPLING When conducting a survey, there is always the issue of who are the appropriate respondents. Resolution Economics designs statistical samples to reduce costs associated with surveying from a large population. Statistical sampling involves the random selection of a subset of a given population. By creating an effective sample design, the scope and accuracy of the retrieved information can be increased. This sample may then be analyzed and the results may be projected to the entire population from which it was collected. SURVEY DESIGN Wording of surveys is critical to getting an accurate result. For example, the question of "do you like sweet, shiney apples or dull oranges?" may produce a biased result in favor of the apples. Unfortunately, while biased questions may work in TV commercials, they do not have the same acceptance rate in a court of law. Resolution Economics can help insure that the questions you ask are what you intend, and that the information collected is an accurate representation of the views of the respondents.
